Grapes are expected to gap in supply in early November.
Growers started harvesting this years crop on rice in August. Rice is only harvested once per year and this year the yields were very low. California has also planted about 60% less due to the water issue which will cause yield and supply issues as well across the entire market.
We expect rice to become very tight on supply during the summer months of 2023 until the next harvest in August. Prices will be elevated as well in the coming months. It is too soon to tell how high prices will go.
As always, we will do our best to keep good quality product in stock and prices controlled the best we can as we go through these challenging times in the coming months
