Avocado supplies impacted
As we come out of the holidays and into the new year, we have some important insights to share. The market for oranges continues to thrive, driven by strong demand from schools as they reopen for the second semester.
88, 113, and 138 sizes are currently in high demand and short supply. The peak sizes currently in production are 72ct. Relief is expected as the domestic navel harvest ends near mid April 2024.
With low fruit set and rain events it has caused the shortage in smaller fruits. Fruit will only continue to size up as we move into peak season. However, rest assured that we are closely monitoring and managing these issues to maintain and provide desired sizing with top quality.
