Grapes are expected to gap in supply in early November.
Production of asparagus is down 70% due to rain, cloudy weather, and unseasonably cool temperatures in growing areas. The lack of supply and harvest is causing growers to severely prorate orders. Open market asparagus will be subject to day-to-day pricing with extremely limited supply.
Quality standards may also be stretched as a result of the limited supply. We expect this situation to last 2-3 weeks assuming the weather conditions are more favorable.
