Avocado supplies impacted
We are experiencing the perfect storm (literally) on green and french bean supply. First came Ian, then unstable weather in other growing regions:
Mexico - We may see some relief hopefully by mid-November.
Guatemala - Supplies will continue to be hit or miss thru end of the year. Due to the unstable weather patterns (rain, overcast, limited day light) along with fumigating fields, growers are unable to replant fields.
The fields that they are being currently pick yields are low due to quality and higher than normal cull rate.
